This course provides a review of the State of Illinois requirements according to the board rules and The Professional Engineering Practice Act of 1989. This course meets the requirements by the State of Illinois for continuing education for professional engineers. This course presents the “The Professional Engineering Practice Act of 1989” and a section of the administrative code pertaining to professional development, which serve as the course documents. The topics covered include licensure requirements, examples of situations that require a license, proper use of an engineer’s seal, exemptions to licensure requirements and categories of violations.
