A unified approach to developing and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley–based automation

Discover a unified approach to developing and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley–based automation. In the first part of the course, focus on the Allen-Bradley integration/development tools: IAR Integrated Architecture Builder, Motion Analyzer software and RAISE software and testing tools. Learn the ladder logic handler for debugging purposes, and how to set up the FactoryTalk View Studio for Alarm and Trend. In the second part of the course, develop automation starting from a design requirement, using the Allen-Bradley tools and systematic approach and a variety of subsystems.
In this course you will be able to: • Select the automation components, servo motors, encoders, gearbox, sensors, HMI, and Network for the Application using Allen Bradley Web-based Software • Lay out the Automation panel and the required protection according to CSA standard • Learn different techniques to minimize EMI • Describe the pneumatic (SMC), and hydraulic (control valves) • Integrate other PLC families with Allen Bradley family (G&L; Omron; Siemens; Mitsubishi; Modicon; Telemecanique) • Use LAB-VIEW for automation, and remote SCADA supervisory control • Test/troubleshoot techniques for automation; and • Discuss OSHA and safety requirements.

35 years of Power Engineering & Control. Specialized in power, control, automation, instrumentation, nuclear. My name is Eduard Loiczli, Doctor Engineer in Electrical Engineering. I started programming Rockwell PLC's in 1991 and since then I have programmed and integrated many Automation Systems which required motion control, automation HMI Control and complex multitasking. I've also taught at many reputable schools. For all who are looking to learn fast and in depth Rockwell Automation, this introductory course is one in a series of four courses to launch you into a better understanding of Automation and Control.
